Dr. Broder joined Urology Associates of Connecticut, P.C. in 1999. He earned his BS and MD degrees from Cornell University. Dr. Broder served as an intern and resident in surgery at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He completed his training as a resident and was Chief Resident in urology at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center.  During his residency, Dr. Broder authored several peer-reviewed articles on prostate cancer.

Dr. Broder is certified by the American Board of Urology and is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to general urology, Dr. Broder’s areas of special expertise include urinary stone disease, prostate brachytherapy, minimally invasive treatment for prostate cancer, prostate laser surgery and nephron sparing renal surgery. Dr. Broder serves on the Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network Credentialling Committee and is the Chief of Urology at Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network.

Dr. Bruno earned his BS from the University of Notre Dame and his MD from the University of Connecticut, where he also performed an internship in surgery. He served as a resident in surgery and urology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and was Chief Resident of Urology from 2006 to 2007. Dr. Bruno performed additional training in urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and New York Medical College. He has published many peer-reviewed articles on prostate and kidney cancer in addition to co-authoring chapters on trauma to the genitourinary tract.

Dr. Bruno joined Urology Associates of Connecticut, P.C. in 2007.  He was a founder of the Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network Robotic Surgery program in 2009 and performed the hospital’s first robotic surgeries.  As the current director of the Robotic Surgery program he continues to perform and advance minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery of the urinary tract.

In addition to general urology, Dr. Bruno’s areas of special expertise include the endourological management of stone disease and urethral reconstructive surgery. He is an active member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association and the Endourological Society. Dr. Bruno is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Manetti graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Medical Degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, where he served as chief resident of Urology. Dr. Manetti has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and was awarded a research grant from the Department of Surgery at Yale University. In addition to general urology, Dr. Manetti’s areas of special expertise and interest are minimally invasive surgery of the kidney, robotic prostate surgery, management of stone disease and erectile dysfunction. He is a member of American Urological Association and an attending at Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network.

Dr. Hennessey grew up locally in Newtown, Connecticut and is a graduate of Newtown High School. He received his B.A in Music Theory and Composition from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, where he was a member of the Honors College and graduated summa cum laude. He received his M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and was the student commencement speaker for his graduating class. He continued at the University of Connecticut to complete his internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology, where he served as Chief Resident and was awarded a distinction for excellence in teaching. During residency, he received extensive training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery from leaders in the field. He has published peer-reviewed articles on prostate and adrenal cancer, as well as multiple textbook chapters. Dr. Hennessey is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to general urology, Dr. Hennessey’s areas of special expertise are robotic and laparoscopic kidney surgery, as well as management of BPH, stone disease, and erectile dysfunction.He is thrilled to have returned home to serve the community where he grew up.

Dr. Weizer received his BA degree from Northwestern University. He received his medical degree and urological training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He is an attending urologic surgeon at Danbury Hospital.

Dr. Weizer performs general urology, with special interest in benign prostate disease, female urology and incontinence and stone disease. Dr. Weizer is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urological Association.

Dr. Michael E. Goltzman is a New York native who graduated from Colgate University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in cellular neuroscience. In 2012, he completed a Masters of Science in Basic Medical Sciences at the Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences at New York Medical College studying epigenetic patterns of bladder cancer. Simultaneously, he was a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, conducting quality of life research in bladder cancer patients. In 2017, Dr. Goltzman graduated from New York Medical College. After medical school, he completed his urology residency and general surgery internship at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Goltzman joined the Greater Hartford Urology Group in 2022. He was quickly named the site director at Saint Francis Hospital for the urology residency program. Dr. Goltzman’s research has been published in Urology, Journal of Urology, and the British Journal of Urology. As a member of the American Urologic Association (AUA), Dr. Goltzman has presented at a variety of national and regional academic conferences, including the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU), AUA, and New England Section of the AUA.

Dr. Goltzman is an expert in the treatment of several urologic malignancies, including bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancer. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and the treatment of kidney stones, benign prostate enlargement, and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Goltzman treats a complete spectrum of issues affecting sexual and urinary health utilizing minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Dr. Goltzman recognizes the very personal and sensitive nature of many of the conditions he treats and builds his care philosophy around individualized treatment planning to restore happiness and quality of life.

Dr. Russo is a urogynecologist who is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Female Reconstructive Surgery. She is a native of the state of Connecticut and is proud to be able to care for women within her home state. She is trained in vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery for pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. She also has clinical expertise in Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections, urethral bulking, and sacral neuromodulation. Dr. Russo prides herself on providing thorough care and counseling to patients with pelvic floor disorders.  She also serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Vermont Medical School and the Division Director of Urogynecology at Danbury Hospital.

Ms. St. Pierre graduated form the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth receiving a Bachelor in Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. After graduation, Ms. St. Pierre worked as a clinical microbiologist for approximately seven years at Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Ms. St. Pierre received her Master’s Degree at Quinnipiac University in Health Science and Physician Assistant degree. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants and a member of her local state association.

Ms. Madkour graduated from Springfield College receiving both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Science and Physician Assistant Studies in 2003. After graduation, Ms. Madkour returned to Connecticut and practiced primary care medicine for over 12 years prior to joining Urology Associates of Connecticut in 2016. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Ms. Rivas Siracusa graduated from Western Connecticut State University receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2011. After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse in the cardiology unit and progressive care unit at Danbury Hospital for six years.

Ms. Rivas Siracusa received her Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Sacred Heart University in 2017. She successfully completed her primary care nurse practitioner residency from the highly sought after nurse practitioner residency program through the Community Health Center, Inc. After completion, she worked in primary care for seven years prior to joining Urology Associates of Connecticut. She is a member of the American Urology Association, American Academy Nurse Practitioners and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2010.

Ms. Rivas Siracusa was raised in Danbury and is proud to continue to serve her community. Her compassion to care for others expands beyond the workplace. Throughout the years she has volunteered for several organizations including volunteering for a local free clinic and has participated in medical mission trips overseas including to her country of origin, the Dominican Republic. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Mary is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her nursing career at Danbury Hospital after earning her Bachelor of Science from Pace University in 2005. She gained experience across a wide range of specialties throughout the hospital for nearly ten years. As a resident of the Hudson Valley, she began working on the Med-Surg unit at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY and later transitioned to Nuvance Health General Surgery and Bariatric Medicine Medical Practice.

She joined Urology Associates as an RN and transitioned to her current role after receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Connecticut State University in 2023. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Gorelick received his BS and MD degrees from Northwestern University. He performed an internship and surgical and urological residencies at the New York-Cornell University Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident in Urology from 1988 to 1989. Dr. Gorelick performed additional training in urology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He joined Urology Associates of Connecticut, P.C. in 1989. He is an attending urological surgeon at Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network and has been a clinical instructor at the John Dempsey Hospital-University of Connecticut Health Center.

In addition, Dr. Gorelick maintains an active interest in the formation of health care policy. He is the former Vice President of the Fairfield County Medical Association and presently serves as an associate counselor to the Connecticut State Medical Society. He has also served as an American Urological Association representative to the AMA. Although Dr. Gorelick performs general urology, his areas of special expertise include male infertility, erectile dysfunction and reconstructive urology. Also named among the “Top Physicians in Connecticut” by Connecticut Magazine, Dr. Gorelick is certified by the American Board of Urology, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association.

Dr. Beck earned his BS from Fordham University and his MD from the State University of New York Brooklyn Health and Science Center. He was an intern at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, where he also performed residencies in surgery and urology. Dr. Beck performed additional training in urology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He was Chief Resident of Urology at the North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York in 1990 and Chief Resident of Urology at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center from 1990 to 1991.

Dr. Beck, named among the “Top Physicians in Connecticut” by Connecticut Magazine, joined Urology Associates of Connecticut, P.C. in 1991. He is an attending urologist and has served as Chief of the Division of Urology at Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network. In addition to general urology, Dr. Beck’s areas of special expertise include male and female voiding dysfunction, neurourology, prostate disorders, urologic microsurgery (vasectomy reversals) and endoscopic management of stones. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Beck is an active member of the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Hennessy graduated from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York and received his MD from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He performed an internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York. Dr. Hennessy performed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was Chief Resident in Urology from 1979 to 1980. He received his Pediatric Urology training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and performed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from 1980 to 1982.

Dr. Hennessy established Urology Associates of Connecticut, P.C. in 1983. Over the past 29 years, he has served as the Chief of the division of Urology, Vice President of the Medical Staff and Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at Danbury Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network. In addition to practicing general urology, Dr. Hennessy’s areas of special expertise are pediatric urology and urologic oncology. Named among the “Top Physicians in Connecticut” by Connecticut Magazine, Dr. Hennessy is certified by the American Board of Urology, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and maintains active memberships in the American Medical Association and the American Urological Association
